Gemini Royal Navy Inflatable

4.2m in length these general purpose inflatables have been in use with the Royal Navy for many years. Made to commercial specifications in the heaviest grade hypalon, these boats will last up to 30 years if you are sensible with them. Do not confuse this sort of boat with the cheaper brands that you fold up and carry in the boot of your car. The Gemini has a longitudinal wooden inner keel which attaches to a 2 inch wooden folding floor making it weigh approximately 170kg. It is designed to be carried by 4 or 6 men and take an outboard up to 50hp shortshaft.

These boats cost in excess of £8k and this particular one came from a batch of unused stock.

It sits on a new and unused Hallmark Merit 2 galvanised inflatable boat trailer with additional bunks and supports for the boat. The Gemini can be sold without the trailer.

There are also a selection of engines ranging from 25-50hp which would be suitable for this boat.

The boat is best inflated/deflated with a 12v pump and can be assembled in about 10 minutes.
